John David Edison Interior Design Inc. incorportated on July 1, 1990, is a full service Interior Design firm located in Toronto. Since the firm's formation, we have gained an international reputation specializing in Hotels, Residential, Condominiums, Golf Clubs and Retirement Residences. We have long associations working with architectural firms both in Toronto and internationally. This allows us to design for the many and varied building practices worldwide.
Prior to starting his own firm, founder John David Edison was invited to join the Toronto firm Rosalie Wise Design - at the time the Interior Design arm of Four Season's Hotels & Resorts. From 1982-1990 he worked for RWD, becoming a Senior Designer in 1984.
John specialized in Interior Design while enrolled in the Environmental Design Programme at his alma mater, the Ontario College of Art, where he received the Governer General's Academic gold medal for scholastic excellence.
He is also an alumnus of the Faculty of Architecture - University of Manitoba and Trinity College - University of Toronto.
